Mr and Mrs Thomas Smart -22nd July 2017

Laura & Matthew wanted their special day to be different from all the rest.
They wanted it to be extremely fun for all family and friends and obviously for themselves.
When planning this big day they came to me with loads of different ideas which changed over the year until it was perfect for them both.
What did they decide on…?
Colour scheme: they are a light hearted couple and like things bright and eye catching so orange suited their personalities perfectly.
Decorations: Simple and classy candelabras on a mirror with scatter crystals
Cake: Three tiers with a chocolate base, vanilla middle tier and chocolate again for the top tier as the bride and groom were saving this tier and chocolate is the brides’ favourite.
Drinks reception: Laura and Matthew wanted a variety so family and friends had a nice choice of refreshing drinks on arrival, they chose Desperados, Corona, Bucks Fizz, Prosecco and fruit shoots for the children.
Catering: for the day guests we provided a Hog roast, who doesn’t love a nice soft bread cake with shredded pork served with stuffing and crackling with a variety of sides provided by our chefs from sweet potato fries to wedges and different salads.
The evening guests had a burger van- like I said Laura and Matthew wanted a fun light hearted day, it was defiantly something different and was a hit with the guests! Our pastry chef Julie made a variety of homemade desserts for something sweet.
Entertainment: Well they kept everyone entertained from start to finish, they provided toys, books, everything you could think of for the children, they even had their own special tables (away from the adults so they could get some peace)
They hired a bouncy castle, this was no ordinary bouncy castle it had speakers in with chart music blasting out and it was the ultimate party castle!
So if you think that is good, they had a surf board, yes you read that correctly. Imagine a bucking bronco but a surf board instead- the easiest way to explain that one.
We had our resident DJ Dan kicking off the evening with a few songs onto the 1st dance and getting everyone on their feet all evening.
A wonderful fun and vibrant day had by all.
