Gemma and Neil got married in Ibiza; they had their dream wedding with close family and friends.

They both wanted to celebrate with a big evening reception for all family and friends to attend so they held it here at Darrington golf club. We displayed the professional wedding pictures on our TV screen so all guests could see how amazing the ceremony was.

Expecting from 140-160 guests joining them on the evening they decided to have a very large 4 tier wedding cake. It was one of the biggest I have seen in a while!!

The bride and groom chose a naked cake which is very popular at the minute; the cake is layered with differently flavoured sponges that are smothered in butter icing and fresh fruit. This is a very simple yet very effective look.

The brides wedding dress looked amazing on her, very fitted to her slim figure with crystals and beading covering the entire dress all the way down the train. So when the bride and groom did their first dance the dress was just sparkling away.

To tie the fairways suite to her wedding in Ibiza the centre pieces were large glass jars, filled half way with beach sand and shells and a large church candle in the centre all sat on a glass mirror, with scatter crystals for a bit of glamour.

To collect all the cards and gifts they used a vintage suitcase with a little string with printed out pictures from when they got married. They had white chair covers with silver and gold sashes bowed to the side which matched perfectly with our décor.

Our resident DJ announced the cake cutting and then they made their way to the dance floor for the first dance where family and friends crowded round to watch.
